Programming and Scheduling

Plan your films, screenings and ticket prices in one place, and adjust quickly when plans change.

Film management

Spend your time choosing films, not typing in their details.

  • Import films from MaccsBox, or create your own
  • Add extra details and media from Filmdepot
  • Adjust any imported information to suit your cinema
  • Upload your own images and videos
  • Create versions of a film, for example with different subtitles, and keep your reports correct

Easy scheduling

Craft your program in just a few clicks

  • Build your schedule with drag and drop
  • Work per screening, per day or per week
  • Copy a week's schedule and change only what's different
  • Set the capacity of each screening, for example for a special event

Ticket templates

Ticket pricing is one of the most complex parts of running a cinema, so it's where we've put a great deal of our energy. A ticket template acts as a blueprint: you set it up once per seat type and reuse it across screenings.

  • Split a price into segments and choose which parts are reported to the distributor through MaccsBox, for example to leave out the snack in a film-and-snack ticket
  • Configure surcharges as a separate segment, for example for a long film
  • Track what the visitor pays and what your cinema earns separately, so Cineville tickets are reported correctly even though the visitor pays nothing at the counter
  • Make a ticket available online, at the box office, or both, for example to keep tickets that need an ID check at the box office
  • Use an internal name for your reports and a display name for visitors, in every language your website supports
  • Add or disable ticket prices even after a screening is published

Reserved and open seating

Every cinema works differently, so Tricket supports both ways of seating your visitors.

  • Reserved seating: visitors choose their own seat when they buy a ticket
  • Open seating: visitors take any free seat in the hall

Custom seat types

Not every seat offers the same experience, and your prices can reflect that.

  • Set up seat types such as regular, premium and special
  • Give each seat type its own price and rules through your ticket templates
  • Let visitors choose the seat that suits them
